1108 08:30-08:40
Neuro-oncology/305
While the fundamental tenet that maximal safe resection (MSR) should be pursued when feasible is enshrined within the guidelines established by organized neurosurgery and oncology, the manner this principle is translated into practical clinical application for patients with glioblastomas situated in eloquent areas of the cerebrum, where GTR may entail higher risk of life-altering deficits, remains inadequately investigated. The lecture presents an overview of the challenges associated with the clinical application of MSR.
