Dr Aversa is Member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery (SBN), and having been elected a member of the Deliberative Council since 2019 until now, and member of the Board Certification Commission of SBN from 2012 to 2022. He has been serving as Secretary of the World Federation of Skull Base Surgery Societies (WFSBS) since 2022. He has been an invited lecturer in more than two hundred of National and International Neurosurgical Scientific Meetings, Practical Courses and Webinars in twelve different countries in the last two decades. He is member of World Academy of Neurological Surgery and International Fellow of American Academy of Neurological Surgery.
